As we inch one week closer to the release of Beauty and the Beast, we are highlighting the characters of Maurice and Garderobe.
Maurice, played by Kevin Kline (Sophie Choice, The Hunchback of Notre Dame), is the father of Belle. Ever the eccentric, Maurice is taken hostage by the beast.
Madam Garderobe is played by Broadway virtuoso and seven time Tony Award® winner Audra McDonald. Madam Garderobe is a wardrobe.
