This year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival is starting tomorrow (8/31/17). To get ready for this fall festival let’s take a look at some of the fun events and food we have to look forward to this year.
Eat to the Beat
The Eat to the Beat concert series, held at the American Gardens Pavilion, features musical acts we all remember.

Culinary Demonstrations
Throughout the festival there are many culinary demonstrations to take advantage of. These demonstrations cover topics such as pastries, tuna, fish, turkey, scallops, pork, mahi, quail, vegetarian, beef, shrimp, salmon, catfish, duck, seafood, lamb, escargot, veal, lobster, venison, cobia, rabbit, halibut, charcutrie, shellfish, chicken, pumpkin, mussel, crab, elk and wreckfish.
The Food
It’s not called the FOOD and wine festival for nothing. The food offerings are always plentiful, varied and delicious and this year’s festival appears to be no exception. This year features tastes from Africa, Australia, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, China, Coastal Eat (Food from the Pacific coast), Farm Fresh, France, Germany, Greece, Hawaii, India, Ireland, Islands of the Caribbean, Italy, Japan, Mexico, Moroco, New Zealand, Patagonia, Scotland, Spain and Thailand.
TIP: If you are planning on spending a day at the Food & Wine Festival, do not make a table service reservation. There are so many amazing tastes throughout the festival that you will not want to fill up on a big meal.
Beverage Seminars
Just like the food demonstration, there are a plethora of beverage seminar during the festival. These seminars feature topics such as wine, tequila, whiskey, beer, champagne, bourbon, vodka, sparkling sake, liqueur, scotch, moonshine, cognac and mescal.
Guest Chef Presentations
Famous chefs from around the world offer a one-of-a-kind experience for guests to not only watch the chef prepare a meal but also enjoy the meal that’s prepared.

Live Tapings of The CHEW
For several years the ABC daytime show The CHEW has filmed their show live from the Food & Wine festival. This year the live tapings will take place October 4-6.
Dole Whip with Bacardi Coconut Rum
Ok, so this is kind of a joke but still… It’s a Dole Whip! With Rum! It is offered at the Refreshment Port near the entrance of the World Showcase along with the world famous “Cronuts”.
