To celebrate Moana Monday, this week we will start highlighting different characters from the new Disney movie Moana leading up to the November 23, 2016 release. This week we highlight Gramma Tala.
Gramma Tala is voiced by Rachel House (Whale Rider, Hunt of the Wilderpeople) and is Moana’s grandmother. Gramma Tala is Moana’s best friend and shares her special connection to the ocean and dances to the beat of her own drum even though her son Tui is a no-nonsense leader.
Moana sails into theatres everywhere on November 23, 2016.
