To celebrate Moana Monday, this week we will start highlighting different characters from the new Disney movie Moana leading up to the November 23, 2016 release.
This week we highlight Chief Tui and Sina who are voiced by Temuera Morrison (Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones, Once Were Warriors, Six Days, Seven Nights) and Pussycat Dolls lead singer Nicole Scherzinger. They are Moana’s parents. Chief Tui is the gregarious and well-respected leader of the people of Motunui Island. Sina, who always has her daughter’s back, is playful, sharp and strong-willed. She appreciates Moana’s longing to be on the water, but also wants to protect her daughter from the dangers beyond the reef.
Moana sails into theatres everywhere on November 23, 2016.
