Welcome to the MouseQuest Podcast- Your guide in the quest for the perfect Disney vacation. This is episode number 97. This week we are very excited to tackle another Trip Planning Challenge! Have you ever wondered how to use your Disney Dining Plan in the best way possible? What choices will save you the most money and offer the best bang for your buck? Today we’ll take on the challenge of the Quick service, Standard and Deluxe Dining Plans to help you save money. For the benefit of our listeners who may not know what the Disney Dining Plan is, we’re going to have an overview of the Quick Service, Standard and Deluxe Dining Plans. As it stands right now, there have been no changes made to these plans or the pricing for 2015. I’m sure Disney will increase the price at some point and may possibly even change some of the offerings, but that is not the case at the time of this recording. Questions this week include:
- What is the Disney Dining Plan?
- Let’s start with the least expensive plan available; the Quick Service plan. If you only had one day at Walt Disney World using the Quick Service plan, which Counter Service locations would you choose to go to get the most out of the $41.99 per adult and $16.03 per child?
- Moving on to the Standard Dining Plan, with one day to use your credits, where would you go to get the best deal for the $60.04 per adult and $19.23 per child you just spent?
- Finally, we have the Deluxe Dining Plan at $109.53 per adult and $29.86 per child. Where are you going to get the most value for your dining credits?
Appearing this week are Amy Bechtol, Dawn Gosdin, Rich Grady, David Smith, and Marci Smith.
