Welcome to the MouseQuest Podcast- Your guide in the quest for the perfect Disney vacation. This is episode number 37. On this week’s show we will be discussing the Disney Parks Moms Panel Application Process. As you may know, we began this journey in podcasting because we were inspired by the Moms Panel and wanted to share our love of Disney in a new way. The time is quickly approaching this year to apply for the 2014 Panel and we are very excited! We hope to share our experiences of the application process with you and would love for you to join us as potential hopefuls.

Back in 2007 Disney put out a call for those of us who love to visit, plan and share Disney magic wherever we go and with whomever will listen to us. Out of thousands of applicants the first group of 12 Walt Disney World Panelists were chosen to spread vacation pixie dust. Now in 2013 the panel has grown to 47 members and encompasses much more than just walt Disney world. Moms and dads from around the world share their love and knowledge of Disneyland, Disney Cruise Line, Adventures By Disney, Disney Vacation Club, runDisney and more, even in multiple languages. If you think you’d like to join this group Disney lovers and wonder what the process is like, we’re here to help you understand it a little better. Questions this week include:

Let’s start right at the beginning. When and how does the application process begin?
There are 3 rounds in the application process and we know the first round is that initial application that will be taking place on September 9th of this year. If someone were to get past the first round and into the second round, what additional things need to be done to complete round 2?
What do you think was the most difficult part of the application process?
What is the one tip you would give to someone who is applying to be on the panel?
